Awakening

Hello, all who read my blog!

It has come to my attention that my very excellent mother has included the address to my blog in the Egan family's annual Christmas Newsletter! thanks, mother dearest. haha. Well, that means I must start updating now! I don't have much of an excuse for not updating it in so long. It's not that nothing worthy of reporting has happened, it's just been quite the opposite! So much has changed and happened, and I've had a lot to get used to.

A quick update before I go into more detail of my life over the past semester: All is well. I'm a freshman attending LSU, majoring in biological sciences. I got five A's and one B (darn you, calculus! I was so close to an A.), resulting in a 3.687 GPA. I love college and being able to manage my own time. Single's Ward and Institute is also awesome. Going on dates has been a significant change! And hey, I also have my first official "boyfriend." Haha! It's so fun! :) :) :) Traffic tickets are NOT so fun, though. Ugh. Now I'm spending time with my family in Houston, having now just wrapped up our Christmas season and preparing for a spectacular Mexican cruise...

Now that I have whet your appetite sufficiently, I except your swift return. Ta!

Photo-manipilation Fun and Gulf Shores

Just a small, little update. :)

I've been having fun with a Macromedia art program called Fireworks. The first is...not very explainable! haha. The second is Super Mario Bros. in edible form. Bonus points to whoever can name them all! :D

Tomorrow I'm going to Louisiana to meet up with my best friends and go on our little close-knit senior trip. We're going to a place called Gulf Shores in Alabama. I'm so excited! I'll be there until August 2. See you all later!

I hope that I'm NEVER the kind of person that makes someone else feel like they don't matter, or like what they have to say isn't important in a conversation or social setting.

I hope I NEVER judge someone based on income, rich or poor; their hobbies; physical appearance, or social status.

I hope I NEVER try to be the center of attention.

I only hope I have the ability to make someone else feel special, loved, wanted, and important, instead of focusing on what makes people like ME more.

That is what I hope for.

Hello all!

This is Natalie's blog. It's really not that great right now, but maybe it will be one day. :) Mary Jane, thank you so much for making me such a cool blog! I love the header graphic a TON.

I plan on entering some of the more general things of my life here, sort of like a timeline for friends and family to check on how I am. Big events, like weddings, parties, graduations (coming up REALLY SOON!!), etc etc.
